How Can brownish Vaginal Discharge Be Treated?

I have the implant in my arm for birth control so I haven t had my period since I got in a year and a half ago. Randomly I started having brown stringy discharge and started what I thought was my period but it only lasted 3 days. I got off of it and a week later I m bleeding again. should I be worried?

Hi, I think it can happen sometimes due to breakthrough bleeding. But just go for a pelvic examination to rule out any infection.
